How will M-Net and Mzansi Magic ensure that all the votes are counted in time for the results and avoid what happened with the Idols Season 5's final?

To ensure that there is no late vote-delivery, M-Net and Mzansi Magic built in a window after the voting period for the late delivery of votes, i.e votes that were cast during the voting period but not delivered before the cut-off time.

The vote delivery during the Idols Season 5 finale was an anomaly and we have put several measures in place to ensure that it doesn't happen again, including no voting during live Results Shows.

When will the Results for the Group Shows be announced?

During the 90-minute live Results Show on Sunday, 29 July. It will be broadcast from the Soweto Theatre and will start at 17:30.
