News: Congrats Pour in for Khaya
Almost 3 million fans voted in the past week in the hottest Idols contest in many years, Durban’s Khaya walked away with the title of South Africa’s latest Idol.

This morning he tweeted: “Good morning peeps! It's literally a new day for me! What an incredible night! Idols SA is your victory! Thank you, and have a blessed day!!”

Well wishes have been flooding in:
“You made my night.” - Nqobile Prosperity.

“Khaya Mthethwa deserved to be our SA Idol. You made us proud big-ups.” - Precious King.

“I can't stop jumping up and down and singing his song. I’m so happy for him.” - Nqobile Berry N Gcabashe.

“Wow Khaya, I’m so proud of you. It’s quite obvious I didn’t waste my airtime when I voted for you. You just made my night and make that my whole month wow wow wow I LOVE U.” - Sthembile Sne Maphalala.

“I’m so happy for you Khaya. Congrats, you deserve it. Wish you all the best.” - Melody Nomthandazo.

“Well done boy. I remember Unathi saying that this is your competition to loose; while Randall said he’d see you in the finals. Whoop whoop here you are. I'm so happy I voted for you, my money didn't go to waste.” - Nomimi Mdlalo.

“I believe Khaya will make it all the way to the top of the charts with the help of us his supporters buying his music.” - Zinhle Mkhize.

“It feels like the World Cup, only better because we won. Praises to the Almighty. You are God's favorite cup of tea Khaya.” - Langelihle Mahlangu.

But it seems this young singer still needs to get used to hearing his music on radio. This morning he posted: “Listening to my single playing on-air is just unreal!”
