News: Khaya Was…
Last night Khaya was out to impress his fans, the Idols Judges and our special celebrity guest Judge, international star Ciara.

After their success with the Lady Antebellum “I Need You Now” duet, Melissa and Khaya were at it again. They performed Chris Brown and Jordin Sparks’ “No Air”, much to their fans delight.

Watch their duet here:

Fans took to Facebook and Twitter to share their thoughts of that performance:
“Beautiful both of you.” - Benita van der Vent.
“It’s going to be a tie on Tuesday.” - Singo ST Rotchie.
“Khaya was off-key!” - Jason Papa-j Beukes.
“Hahaha, looked like they want to smooch, hehehe!” - Esme Oumie Jacobs.
“Khaya's not feeling Melissa. Come on bro, where's the swag?” - Franco Beginsel.

Khaya’s favourite song of the Season was Otis Redding’s “Try A Little Tenderness”.

“I really went into that song knowing I could be slated for it but if I gave it my heart it might turn out well,” he said about the first time he performed the song.

He revisited the song last night; watch his performance again here:

This is what his fans thought:
“This boy is on fire! He’s a gem.” - Brownskin Arlene Solomons.
“I love this song. Khaya you sing it better than the owner.” - Ntombizini Mgangxela Zandi.
“Could be better, boring!” - Feroza Turton Patience.
“Try a lil’ tenderness by voting non-stop only for Khaya.” - Nomkhosi Mtolo.

International RnB artist and celebrity guest Judge for the Top 2 Performance Show, Ciara said: “I have to say Melissa had me on the duet. And then on the next round, Khaya came in and he was committed.”

After plenty was said about their performance on Idols, The Drakensberg Boys Choir was back on our stage last night. They performed R. Kelly’s “The World’s Greatest” alongside Khaya.

Watch their performance again here:
