Monde was so close to making it to the final, but he was voted out of the competition this week. This meant that Melissa and Khaya would go into the final battle this week for the coveted Idols title.

Monde has show great optimism and remains his bubbly self. He took to Facebook:

What a lovely experience this has been. You are all so loving and supportive that I am sure to give you what you have heard from the beginning of this competition. This is a continuation of not the end...
