Exclusive Video: What a Journey
Tue, 25 Sep 2012 12:26
Participating in the Idols competition is an experience like no other. Your Top 3 take a look at their journey so far, the lessons they have learnt and their worst and best performances of the Season.
For
Khaya
, missing home was difficult to deal with and getting negative feedback from the Judges didn’t help either.
“I don’t think people know what it means to be criticised or corrected at that level with the entire nation watching,” says Khaya.
Melissa
says her best performances were “Gabriel” and “Where Have You Been” with the Showstopper Show being her highlight of the Season.
She says if she were given the chance to do everything over, “I’d probably change my attitude in Theatre Week. I think I became very intimidated and scared and not sure of myself but I think that actually made me a better person.”
For
Monde
, being in the bottom half at the Live Results Shows has definitely been his lowest moments of the Season.
Given the chance to do the competition over again, Monde says there is not much that he would change “except that I’d possibly choose younger songs.”
