Celebrating everything that is local, the “Homebrew” theme got Contestants to sing South African songs for their solo performances. In addition, our very own Idols Judge, Unathi, took to the stage for a mesmerizing show!
The popular House DJ, Black Coffee, mentored the Top 4.
Khaya went one of Zahara’s hits, “Lengoma”, and the Springbok Nude Girls classic “Blue Eyes”.
Monde sang Brian Temba’s “Dominoes”, as well as Watershed’s “Indigo Girl”.
Melissa took to The Arrows’ “Lovesick” and her own interpretation of Mafikizolo’s hit of the classic “Ndihamba Nawe”.
Tshidi prepared Zamajobe’s “Ndawo Yami” as well as Freshlyground’s first big hit, “Doo Bee Doo”.
Audiences were treated to two amazing duets from the Contestants. For the first duet of the night, Tshidi and Monde coupled up for the song, “Think Like a Man”. Khaya and Melissa teamed up for the hit from Lady Antebellum “Need You Now”.
It is now up to you to keep your favourite Contestant in the game.
