The last Live Results Show was the final opportunity the Judges had to use their one and only save of the season. But they decided to let the public votes speak for themselves and opted not to use the save. This shows that it is the votes, and only the votes that do matter.

It also meant that Simphiwe, who had received the least votes in the latest voting round, had to leave the competition.
