On Sunday your Top 5 performed classics from Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of Top 500 songs ever.

The Judges said although Khaya’s rendition of “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye was musically correct, it simply lacked sexiness.

“Incredible performance vocally but I wish you could have sung it more from your groin,” said Unathi.

Many viewers agreed, they said:

“The Judges were right. Not ripe yet for that song.” - Lebogang Ramafoko.

“It was nice but too formal, not sexy at all!” - Keamogetsoe Ipeleng Maroo.

Others remain die-hard fans. They posted:

“One not so good performance doesn’t mean you are not the best. Voting Khaya all the way.” - Palesa Tily Ralikhomo.

“Still voting for you no matter what. You’ve got the seed, raunchiness comes with exposure and experience. Team Khaya all the way.” - Ntombela Sibongiseni.

Simphiwe’s fans were not impressed with the Judges this Sunday and did not hesitate to voice their opinions.

“If Randall can't relate to that kind of genre he just says it was bad. Rubbish! Simphiwe redeemed himself and guess what Randy? We enjoyed it. Well done Simphiwe!” - Upgee MaNtuli Wales.

“You rocked my world Simphiwe! You’re not going home! Judges are cruel to you! That is why I'm voting for you, to prove them wrong!” - Junia Sebeela.

“Nonsense comments from Judges, over vocal! Simphiwe is no copycat! He does justice to the song and made it relevant to the younger generation PERIOD!” - JT Hansen.

Some viewers however felt Simphiwe had indeed lost the meaning of the lyrics in his performance.

“I did enjoy it but then, as Unathi said, that song was not sung with excitement but with heart break and you sang it with excitement that made it sound bad.” - Prudence Ls-Pru Mooke.

“He took out all the soul in that song. It was too empty.” - Zinhle LadyZat Maimela.

“Bob must be freaking out in his grave, lol.” - Angela Marais

Melissa’s fans were proud of the PE singer, some even expressing growing faith in her chances of winning the competition.

“Melissa I’m starting to like you. The past 3 weeks you've been stealing my heart. You've got my votes girl. You've been so consistent. Well done, don't you worry, Top 3 is where you’re heading.” - Mpho Sesele

“I think Melissa is the dark horse in the competition. She has never had the best voice but each week, she ups her game and she gains more confidence. Melissa, you looked gorgeous, you owned the stage, and you can sing - a world class pop star in the making :-).” - Debbie Dutton

But some people were not at all impressed.

“Melissa should definitely be going home. She is the weakest out of that Top 5. Idols isn't about looks and that voice is definitely not in the same caliber as the other Idols Contestants. No chance that she will be winning this competition.” - Liza Kim Daniels

Randall remained quite convinced that Monde had a good chance of being sent home at tonight’s Live Results Show. He was not alone in that view.

“Sorry my brother you didn't do justice to the song [Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River”]! It was a terrible performance:(!” - Angeline Mareme.

“He didn’t do it for me. I agree with Randall, lol.” - Gad C'yere Kakukuru.

But it seems many more fans think he is headed for the Top 4.

“Monde, you won’t go down. Not now my brother. I will be there every step of the way.” - Mbulaheni Pride.

“Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River" performance was the best for me, great singing, performance and you dressed the part.” - Futhi Vee.

“Don't worry about Randall because he is not going to vote it’s us who are going to send you Top 4. What a great performance! Well done you nailed it. #TEAM MONDE# all the way to the finale.”- Mac Dee.

“Randall is dreaming. Monde you are staying!” - Seipati Morobe.

Tshidi had yet another impressive night with positive comments from the Judges and the viewers.

“Fantastic, fantastic and fantastic.” - Eurika Hiscock.

“I believe that even if we her fans fail to give her enough votes, she is still going to get far with her music career.” - Nyambeni Khomunala.

“Tshidi is in it to win it! Shine gal!” - Sthembiso Khumalo

But of course impressing everyone would be impossible. Those who did not enjoy her performances on Sunday night posted:

“Not so good.” - Buwa Chawuke.

“Not good, 5 out of 10. At least it’s a pass. EISH.” - Theodorick Fortuin.

“That was off pitch, she has a squeaky voice. Gosh no.” - Samke Khawula

Well, after all is said and done, your votes determine which of the Top 5 make it into the Top 4 and which Contestant will end their Idols journey this tonight.
